Every demo reports views, engagement, CTA clicks, and drop-off in one dashboard.
What should you measure on an interactive demo?
Views alone say little. The useful numbers are how far viewers got, where they stopped, and what they did next. nVariant records every session with steps viewed, time spent, navigation behaviour, call to action clicks, captured leads, and the exact step where the viewer left.
Sessions roll up into a global dashboard and a view per demo, with trends over time, a step funnel, audience breakdowns by country, city, device, and operating system, and an engagement score for each viewer. Change the date range to compare a campaign week with a normal one.

What one session tells you
A view is not a signal. These are the fields recorded on every viewer, so a demo link becomes a qualification tool rather than a vanity metric.
Engagement score
Each session is scored from how much of the demo was actually used, then bucketed into a lead quality band so sales knows who to call first.
Step level drop-off
The funnel shows how many viewers reached each step and where they left, so you fix the step that loses people instead of guessing.
Navigation behaviour
Forward and backward moves are counted separately, and split by button, keyboard, and tooltip, which tells you whether viewers explored or got stuck.
Source attribution
UTM parameters, referring domain, embed type, and which trackable link was used are all stored with the session.
Place and device
Country, region, and city plus browser, operating system, device type, and viewport size for every viewer.
Return visits
Returning viewers are recognised across sessions, with a visit number and a replay count, so a second look is visible as buying intent.
How it works
1. Share your demo
Publish and share. nVariant starts capturing viewer data the moment anyone opens the link.
2. Review session data
Open analytics to see who watched, how far they got, and where they came from.
3. Act on insights
Follow up with high-engagement leads and fix the steps where viewers drop off.
How to read demo analytics
Four habits that turn the dashboard into decisions.
1
Fix the biggest drop first
Look for the step with the largest loss in the funnel. One confusing step usually costs more completions than several slightly long ones.
2
Compare channels, not totals
A trackable sales link with few views can matter more than a busy embed. Compare completion and leads per link.
3
Treat return visits as intent
A viewer who comes back or replays the demo is evaluating again. Pass those sessions to sales quickly.
4
Watch navigation direction
Many backward moves on one step usually mean the previous screen was unclear, not that the viewer is lost.
